Foundation Phase teaching is structured, nurturing and developmentally appropriate. Literacy, numeracy and life skills develop through hands-on, interactive and guided learning.

Within Da Silva Academy's teaching progression, Grades 4–7 move toward subject-specialist learning, increased independence and more abstract concepts. This grouping describes how teaching is organised at the Academy; it is not presented as an official curriculum phase.

Da Silva Academy is expanding its High School through a deliberate annual rollout. Grade 8 is operating in 2026; Grade 9 opens in 2027, followed by Grade 10 in 2028, Grade 11 in 2029 and Grade 12 in 2030.

Grade 8 is CAPS–ATP aligned, with subject-specific planning, structured teaching and interactive, iPad-enhanced lessons. Learning prepares learners for assessments and examinations, further education and future pathways.
